  • People are worried about ice melting on the other side of the world, but not many people know about the ICE problem closer to home.

  • Get U.S. citizens who are unaware of ATD (alternatives to detention) to stop the expansion of ICE detention centers by volunteering at freedom for immigrants because we believe that real change is inspired by you.

  • By using an innovative website, JUKIN, we’re going to use the ice melting, fighting climate change UGC content to start the first pro I.C.E melting campaign.

First Pro Melting I.C.E. Campaign

We’re targeting a new perspective for this campaign, we want to capture a new angle from this detention problem in United States. And what’s better than targeting a real problem with another real problem?

On any given day, tens of thousands of children and adults are detained in immigrant jails and prisons across the U.S. They are denied access to a court-appointed attorney, a free phone call, or a speedy trial.

Many of them are subjected to medical neglect, sexual and physical assault, and other human rights abuses. Roughly 80 percent of adults in immigration detention are held private prisons, and the rest are locked up in county and city jails, all of which profit off their inhumane incarceration.

The U.S. government and the private prison industry have been exporting immigration detention to governments across the globe.

This is unacceptable.
